The Opel Kadett was undoubtedly one of those automobile "types" of which each had its own face and characteristic lines for each model.

However, it was not until the Kadett A in 1962 at the Bochum plant that the unbroken series of the most successful Opel series began, which was to be continued in 1991 with the Astra after production of the E-Kadett ended.
