Ettore Bugatti a conçu ses premières automobiles à l'aube du XXe siècle en mettant son regard singulier au service de plusieurs industriels. Puis son individualisme le conduisit à créer sa propre entreprise dès 1910.

Entouré de fidèles complices, bientôt rejoints par son fils Jean, Ettore Bugatti écrivit une légende qui dura deux décennies, entre les deux guerres mondiales.

Ce sont ces destins singuliers, ces destinées recomposées au hasard des drames et des coups d'éclat, que ce "Journal" raconte au fil des jours. La trajectoire de la marque ici rythmée par six actes correspondant aux grandes périodes d'une aventure humaine autant qu'industrielle.

Grand Prix Bugatti

The Grand Prix Bugatti has a strong claim to a book all of its own, with its enviable record of racing successes, its superb craftsmanship and, for the more mechanically minded, the great variety of its ingenious design features unique to the creations of the great artist designer, Ettore Bugatti.

Bugatti - A legend tied to Italy / Una leggenda legata all'Italia

The legendary Bugatti make has taken off again thanks to the boost provided by the Volkswagen Group. This Group has promoted the making of sensational supercars, which, in terms of features and performance, are by far the most unique cars in the world, ranging from the various versions of the EB 16.4 Veyron on through to the Chiron, which with its 1500 bhp easily reaches 420 km/h, and the more recent Divo at a price of five million euros.

The book begins with an exclusive, long interview with Stephan Winkelmann, President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., who explains the characteristics and the motivating force behind the most amazing brand in the automotive industry.
