Lancia Fulvia (Top Model)

La Fulvia Coupé, sportive à succès de la marque Lancia à l'architecture originale et novatrice, fut lancée en 1965. Ce livre, écrit avec la collaboration d'Emilio Agiato, retrace son histoire jusqu'en 1976 en évoquant ses versions successives à moteur 1200, 1300 et 1600 cm³. Un chapitre entier est consacré à la Fulvia Sport à carrosserie Zagato.

La carrière exceptionnelle de la Fulvia en course fait l'objet d'une attention toute particulière, avec deux chapitres dédiés aux versions HF et à leurs résultats en compétition. Il est enfin question de l'histoire de la marque Lancia et de la Fulvia en France et en Belgique.

Comme les précédents, ce livre de Julien Lombard repose essentiellement sur des illustrations d'époque (photos de presse, catalogues, publicités, couvertures de magazines, etc.), dont beaucoup sont inédites, tandis que toutes les versions des Fulvia Coupé et Sport sont détaillées dans les annexes grâce à des dizaines de dessins réalisés spécialement par l'ancien designer de Bertone et Pininfarina Piero Stroppa.

Pas moins d'une quinzaine de témoins d'époque (anciens concessionnaires et importateur, designers, pilotes de rallye, etc.) ont été interviewés, en particulier Cesare Fiorio, ancien responsable de la Squadra HF, Ercole Spada, auteur du dessin de la Fulvia Sport et la Française Claudine Trautmann, qui s'est illustrée sur des Fulvia officielles durant plusieurs années.

Lancia Fulvia Berlina Coupé e Sport

The Lancia Fulvia was one of the cars that accompanied the changing Italy of the 1960s and through into the 1970s. From the saloon of 1963 to the coupé, which two years later was the first sports car designed for mass production and families.
It also marked Lancia's return to rallying as a works team, enjoying great success for almost a decade. The model even became an icon of high style with the introduction of a sleek lightweight body designed by Zagato in 1965.

Thanks to a painstaking reconstruction of the historical events, precious photographs, many of which previously unpublished, an extensive photographic guide to restoration and highly detailed technical files, this book traces the story of the various versions of the Fulvia, a story that could hardly not feature in this series.
