The factory very quickly produced an elegant coupé, entrusting Nuccio Bertone with the task of creating an even more exclusive spider. The most renowned tuners on the peninsula also seized on it. Stung with scorpion venom, the Abarth derivatives displayed monstrous performances. Moretti and Vignale distinguished themselves by equipping it with a multitude of specific trims, while Siata designed an unusual neo-retro roadster. A real success story that would not end until the mid-1970s...

The Fiat 850 embodied the middle-class aspiration for an automobile during the 1960s. Intended to provide a more upscale option compared to the 600 amid economic growth, it encountered challenges during challenging times. While serving as a modest and practical sedan, its sportier variants - the Coupé and the Spider - garnered greater appreciation. Additionally, it was adapted into a compact family minivan.
