For decades, trucks from Heinrich Büssing AG in Braunschweig were among the technically best and most advanced in the field of commercial vehicles in Germany, but after the takeover by MAN in the early 1970s, the brand with the lion emblem ceased to exist.

In this book, Wolfgang Westerwelle documents the history of Büssing and its trucks from its beginnings to the present day. On around 220 pages, he presents all the important models with their technical features in detail in words and pictures, starting with the first 3-ton truck in 1903 and the Büssing-NAG types up to the last "Burglöwen" in 1971.
