Fiat Campagnola (1951-1973)
The Fiat Campagnola was Italy's first off-road vehicle. Developed from wartime experience but also intended for civilian use, it served two generations of soldiers and some farmers in their work. Continuously updated mechanically, it remained in production for over twenty years, proving to be an excellent work vehicle long before off-roading became a recreational activity.
This book covers the complete history of the Campagnola, from the initial project to later developments, and includes numerous illustrations and detailed technical specifications for every version.
Mechanically very innovative but still rooted in the traditional, practical off-road concept, the Nuova Campagnola was the last "hard-core" 4x4 built by Fiat before the SUV era. Primarily designed for military use with the AR76 version, it also achieved notable success as a civilian vehicle for professional work and recreational purposes.
This book covers the complete history of the Nuova Campagnola, from the initial project to later developments, and includes numerous illustrations and detailed technical specifications for every version.
