Henschel Hs 129

This book is the latest in a reference series for aircraft modellers called "Spotlight On" and presents detailed illustrations of the German Luftwaffe's WWII lightweight ground attack aircraft which saw front-line combat in North Africa and on the Eastern Front.

The book contains 40 specially-commissioned colour plan and profile views illustrating the different camouflage, colours and markings of German and other air forces including Hungary and Romania.

Stukas Over Spain - Dive Bomber Aircraft and Units of the Legion Condor

In this concise study, the infamous Luftwaffe Stukas of World War II are shown in their earlier use during the Spanish Civil War as part of the Legion Condor.
Using text and photographic material from both Spanish and German archives, the famous Junkers Ju 87 and the lesser known Henschel Hs 123 are shown in rare war-era photographs, as well as in color profiles. The operational and technical details of both dive-bomber aircraft types are also presented, as well as the histories of the units that flew them.

Henschel Flugzeuge - seit 1933 (Typenkompass)

Founded as a subsidiary of the well-known Henschel-Werke, Henschel Flugzeugwerke AG quickly built its own designs, such as the Hs 123 dive bomber, in addition to license orders. From 1940, Henschel even developed remote-controlled missiles, such as the Hs 117 "Butterfly" anti-aircraft missile.
After the Second World War, the aircraft works were re-established as a subsidiary and took over, among other things, the maintenance of the Alouette II SE and Sikorsky S-58 helicopters for the German army.
This volume tells the story of the Henschel-Werke and presents all models in the usual Typenkompass manner.

Each type is presented with a photo, a historical description and a technical sheet.

Henschel-Flugzeuge 1933–1945

Even after more than three quarters of a century, one is impressed by the achievements of an aircraft factory that was granted only 12 years for its excellent work in aircraft production. All ten Henschel aircraft are worthy of special recognition.

The author began writing up a Henschel type book early on, because like others, he found it incomprehensible and undignified how little was known about the interesting Henschel aircraft.
But it was only the long work of gathering and selecting documents, but above all the help of acquaintances and friends, whether in word or deed, without which a history that is as truthful and comprehensive as possible cannot exist, that brought about the fact that this book about Henschel aircraft is now available.
