De Fiat 126p, beter bekend als de "Maluch" of "kleine Fiat", heeft Polen gemotoriseerd en was de eerste auto van veel gezinnen.
Hij werd in september 1972 in Italië geïntroduceerd en kwam in november naar Polen als de Fiat 126. Op 6 juni 1973 werd hij officieel de Poolse Fiat. In 27 jaar werden meer dan 3 miljoen exemplaren geproduceerd in de fabrieken van Bielsko-Biała en Tychy.
