Indian Military Motorcycle Model 340 - Manual of Care and Maintenance (1940 Edition)
The Indian Motocycle Manufacturing Co. began producing motorcycles in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1901 and quickly became the world's largest manufacturer. While the Harley-Davidson WLA was the motorcycle of choice for the U.S. Army, during WWII Indian's Chief, Scout and Junior Scout models were drafted into service.
This handbook TM-10-1283 for the Model 340 / 74 Military Chief was adopted by the Army in October, 1941. During WWII, Indian made over 33, 000 motorcycles, but it emerged from the conflict in financial trouble. Production was seriously curtailed by 1949, and the company ceased operation in 1953.
This original Indian maintenance handbook is an exact copy of the original 1940 edition. It's a wonderful asset for the collector, docent or fan.

Indian Pony Bike, Boy Racer & Papoose - Illustrated Parts List & Sales Literature
This illustrated parts list documents the 50 cc minibikes produced in partnership between Floyd Clymer and Italjet in the late 1960s.
Clymer began using the Indian trademark on these models in 1968, but his death in 1970 ended the project before it was fully established. As only a small number of minibikes were imported and this catalogue was printed exclusively for dealers, the original publication became extremely rare.
The book is an important reference for owners of the Ponybike, Boy Racer, and Papoose models, and a valuable resource for anyone interested in Clymer, Italjet, or Indian minibikes.
The detailed exploded diagrams are especially useful for restoration work, helping readers identify original parts and assembly methods. The inclusion of period photographs, reviews, and data sheets from Clymer's sales material further supports accurate identification of model features.
Long out of print and difficult to obtain, this reproduction makes a scarce document available again for collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.
