The Steam Locomotive - An Engineering History

Cette édition est la cinquième, la première datant de 1894. Édouard Sauvage laisse un traité majeur sur la locomotive en détaillant les chaudières, les mécanismes, les châssis et suspensions, les tenders, les différents types de locomotives, les freins et la conduite de ces engins ; abondamment illustré de plus de trois cents gravures et photographies, rien n'est laissé au hasard.

La Locomotive (réédition de l'édition originale de 1920)

La Chaudière, le Moteur, le Véhicule et enfin le Tender constituent les quatre parties de ce livre. Die Dampflok im Bahnbetriebswerk
