AJS & Matchless - Singles & Twins - All Models (1957-1966) - Factory Workshop Manual - Clymer Manual Reprint

This manual is a compilation of three original factory publications.
- The first is a reproduction of the 108-page 'Workshop Instruction Manual' for the 1957-1964 Lightweight and Heavyweight singles and the twin cylinder models.
- The second is a reproduction of the 12 page 'Supplementary Instruction Book for Competition Models'.
- The third is a 60 page 'Instruction Book' combination that is exclusive to the 1958-1966 G2, G5, 14 and 8 Lightweight 250 cc and 350 cc singles.

While the reprint of the original 108 page AMC workshop manual states that it is appropriate for the 1957-1964 models, it actually covers the entire line of AJS and Matchless 250 cc to 650 cc Lightweight and Heavyweight singles and 500 cc to 650 cc twins manufactured by AMC through 1966 (see below). Please note that it does not include the 750 cc AMC G15/45 (1962-63) or the later Norton/AJS/ Matchless G15 hybrids.

Book of Maintenance and Repair of Lucas Electric Systems for 1950's-1970's British Motorcycles

Dit boek presenteert een tot nu toe ongepubliceerde handleiding uit de archieven van Floyd Clymer en dient als een uitgebreide gids voor Lucas elektrische componenten voor motorfietsen. Gebaseerd op originele fabriekspublicaties behandelt het de werkprincipes, onderhoud, reparatie, probleemoplossing en tests van Lucas-apparatuur zoals gebruikt door belangrijke Britse motorfietsfabrikanten zoals A.J.S., B.S.A., Matchless, Norton, Royal Enfield en Triumph.

De handleiding bevat onderhoudsinstructies voor "Elektrische Verlichting en Ontstekingsapparatuur" en "Wisselstroomapparatuur", die van toepassing zijn op machines uit de jaren 1950 tot en met de jaren 1960, evenals het "Motorfiets Servicehandboek" voor modellen uit de jaren 1970 en later. De compilatie beslaat de periode van het begin van de jaren 1950 tot het jammerlijke einde van de Britse motorfietsindustrie eind jaren 1970, en behandelt het onderhoud, de reparatie en het testen van componenten voor 6-volt en 12-volt, één-, twee- en driecilinder machines.
