L'auteur, acteur de cette péri nous fait revivre le parcours des pionniers de la motorisation de l'horticulture, de la viticulture et de la petite agriculture. Il étaye son récit de témoignages des survivants de cette époque ou de leurs héritiers qui, en collectionneurs passionnés, ont conservé les matériels et les documents de l'époque.
